Description
Super Mario Run is a reinvention of the classic Super Mario action-platform game where our well-loved plumber friend, Mario, runs constantly and all it takes is a tap from you to control his moves. This one-handed game is a jumble of stylish jumps, mid-air spins, and wall hopping to collect coins and reach goals. The game is initially free to download, followed by a one-time-purchase for full access to all modes: World Tour, Toad Rally, Remix 10, and Kingdom Builder. Each mode brings a different kind of fun — thrilling adventures to rescue a princess, speedy 10-burst levels, stylish run-offs, or creative kingdom-building, Super Mario Run offers an entertainment package for everyone.
What makes this game truly engaging is its playful competition. The game gets interestingly tough as you clear the 24 exhilarating courses to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser, the villain. There are infinite ways to enjoy these courses, adding to the game's replay value. From collecting different types of coins to out-scoring your friends for the top spot, Super Mario Run makes every tap fun and worth it. When Princess Peach is successfully rescued, a nine-course special world, World Star, is revealed for more fun and challenges.
How To Play
- The game is mostly automated with Mario running on his own and all you need to do is tap to make him jump, flip, or wall-hop. Your tapping skills will control Mario's stylish moves—each jump, mid-air spin, or wall jump—is dependent on your timing and style of tap.
- In World Tour mode, you'll set off on an adventure to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser’s clutches. The path is made of plains, caverns, ghost houses, airships, castles, and more. The goal of each level is to gather coins and reach the end.
- Toad Rally mode lets you compete against your friends and people from around the world. Here, you aim to gather coins and get cheered on by Toads. If you win the rally, the cheering Toads will become your residents, making your kingdom grow.
- The Remix 10 mode requires you to play through 10 short courses one after the other. These courses change each time you play, which means there's always something new to look forward to. As you play, you'll be on a quest to find Daisy who got lost in Remix 10.
- The Kingdom Builder mode calls out the creator in you, letting you build your own unique kingdom using coins and Toads. As you gather more Toads in the Toad Rally, more items become available to you.
- What separates Super Mario Run from the traditional Mario games is the fact that after purchasing, you'll get additional characters to play and the types of courses and buildings in Kingdom Builder mode will increase. You can even play Remix 10 without waiting between each game.
